Struggles of the Biafran People

RisingSun Charities Organization is a non-profit organization in Newark, New Jersey, that aims to create awareness of the evil and atrocities happening in Biafra and to raise awareness for the struggles Biafrans face.

Due to the destruction of public infrastructure from the Biafra Genocide during the Nigerian civil war of 1976 to 1970, thousands of Biafrans experience displacement, sickness, and death. Several of their fundamental human rights go unmet, and the horrors of war and conflict have a long-lasting effect on their physical, mental, and emotional health. They are also facing genocide and extermination at the hands of the Jihadist Government in Biafran.

To help alleviate the suffering of the Biafran people and uplift their lives, we need your help to communicate with the government and influence their decisions surrounding the interests of the Biafran community. Your aid can help secure necessary services to secure their best interests and promote the welfare of our Biafran brothers and sisters.

We advocate for Biafra Restoration in New Jersey to help the survivors of war.

We do this through programs that advocate for their human rights, deliver Legal Support, and provide access to Social Services.

Our Biafra Referendum does Lobbying to Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, raise awareness on Fulani Herders’ atrocities and many more.
